Two Ball Fan Passing

Purpose
Quick-fire passing with 2 balls requires coordination, peripheral vision and communication between team mates.

  • Setup

    3 x cones fan 2m around worker (A). (A & C) start with a ball.
  • Step 1

    The pattern is for (A) to pass to (B then C then D), then restart back to (B) again.
  • Step 2

    The first movement will see (A) chest pass to (B), then receive the 2nd ball from (C)
    (C)'s throw should be just after (A)'s, fast enough so it's possible to catch with sharp skills
  • Step 3

    The second movement will see (A) passing to (C) and receiving from (B)
  • Step 4

    The third movement will see (A) passing to (D) and receiving from (C)
  • Step 5

    Progression 2: Move cones back additional 1-2 metres and use a shoulder pass
  • Step 6

    Advanced level progression: Swap hands.
