  • Setup

Form a circle of cones, 1 for each player. Players start on the outside of the circle facing inwards.
  • Step 1

On 'go', players must use fast footwork to run around the cone to the left, then reach out their opposite (right) hand to feign an intercept
  • Step 2

Players stop short of moving directly in front of the cone, instead reverse their direction to track back behind the cone
  • Step 3

Next time, players round the cone in the opposite direction and reach in with the opposite hand
  • Step 4

Continue for 20-30 seconds depending on fitness, rest briefly.
  • Step 5

As a progression, have a coach/player in the middle feeding to a random player who swats the ball back to them, simulating the intercept
Person in the middle fetches the ball, returns to the middle and feeds to a different cone
