8 players: Use 2/3 of the court > baseline is defensive transverse line; 10+ players: use full court. Form 2 evenly matched teams and assign attackers and defenders.
  • Step 1

Attacking team start line up along their baseline, central player holds the ball. Coach signals 'go!'. Attackers can run anywhere (no offside) are must retain possession with passes.
Defending team pressure the passer and attempt to intercept
Attackers use preliminary moves to evade defenders and find space
    Passing must be sharp
  • Step 2

After 20-40 seconds of passing when the ball is near a baseline, shout 'Try!' which signals the attacking team attempt to score by passing to a player whose footmust be touching the furthest away baseline
Don't call 'Try' when the ball is central, to avoid confusion
