  • Setup

Pair-up and allocate each 1/6 of the court and a ball. Pairs elect who will start as worker (A) and feeder (B) and stand 5-7m apart.
  • Step 1

    (A) begins with a *straight lead* directly towards (B). (B & A) perform a 1-2 pass, then (A) quickly runs backwards to the starting position.
    Practice an effective landing
  • Step 2

Repeat this action of (straight lead |catch | return pass | run back to start), except the angle of the straight lead will differ each time:-
Run 2: Left angled 45 degrees, two-handed catch
Run 3: Right angled 45 degrees, two-handed catch
Run 4: No run (remain stationary) but make player leap high to catch
  • Step 3

Players repeat this circuit for 45-60 seconds. Rotate roles and repeat.
  • Step 4

Progress by performing a one-handed catch for wide passes.
Feeder (B) makes their throws a little more challenging to catch.
