  • Setup

Pairs stand facing one another and need about 5m of space. Choose worker (A) and feeder (B) who start 3m apart
  • Step 1

Feeder (B) rolls the ball to (A)'s feet to simulate a loose ball, or throws a low bounce pass
Vary these to mix things up
  • Step 2

    (A) runs in to gather this ball, then passes back to (B)
  • Step 3

    (B) then throws a lob over (A)'s head, requiring (A) to work hard backwards to catch it
    (A) doesn't run backwards, instead turns 180 degrees and run the opposite way, while looking over their shoulder
    (A) may need to perform a one-handed catch
    (B) should make this pass catchable - but work (A) hard.
  • Step 4

    (A) passes back to (B), then quickly returns to their starting position
  • Step 5

Swap roles after 30 seconds and repeat
