Wall Simulated Bad Pass

Sharp catching reflexes followed by good footwork will enable fast transition from post-to-post.

  • Setup

    You'll need a wall to throw against. Groups of 3-4 have a ball and form a line 5m from the wall, spaced about 3-4m apart.
  • Step 1

    First player in each line throws against the wall, then catches the rebound.
    Land with footwork that assists fast delivery to the player behind them
  • Step 2

    Player passes to next in line, then runs off court.
  • Step 3

    Groups perform the (wall throw + rebound catch + pass back) down the line
  • Step 4

    Progression: Mix-up the throwing (velocity / trajectory) so players must lunge for some wider balls and jump for higher ones.
    This requires more responsive footwork and sharper hands
    Give praise to the most impressive stretching catches!
