Purpose

From the centre pass, run set plays to take advantage of the strengths (e.g. speed/height) of certain players, and maximise space for them to use. Different set-ups can confuse opponents unfamiliar with the strategy. This particular strategy is employed when [WA] has drawn double defence, so they draw the opposition[WD-C] towards a sideline, leaving [GA] the primary target with space either side to lead into.

Setup
Choose teams and setup as per the diagram.
Step 1
[WA] has been the primary target, but now finds they've attracted double defence

[GA] stands 3-4m behind [WA] and doesn't lead - however disguise this by using fast week and throwing some decoy moves to keep their immediate defender pinned to them
Step 2
[WA] moves to a wider position, drawing the opposition [C & WD] with them.

[WA] acts as if they will still lead and be the primary target.

[GA] moves centrally

[C] notices the setup and realises the primary target has changed to [GA]
Step 3
On the whistle, [GA] bursts into the centre, with either side to work into, however the opposite side to [WA] is preferred for court balance.

[GD-WD] become second and third options
Step 4
If [GA] is found with a pass, the next play is for [WA] to perform an up-and-back move, receiving a lob from [GA] in the goal third

[WA] will be at the mercy of the opposition [GK] if [GS] doesn't help out by protecting the space with a block.
Step 5
Optionally continue until a shot / turnover occurs.
