Purpose

When it's your throw-in in the goal third, there are specific set plays you can run, depending on where the ball went out of court. This particular strategy is used when the throw-in is nearer to the post than the transverse line.

Setup
Choose teams and setup as per the diagram.
Step 1
Either [C or WA] take the throw - the player who doesn't moves right out to the other side of the court
Step 2
Your goalies will be the primary target, so run your preferred goalie system.

Step 3
[WA/GD] are mid-court providing backup leads,

[WD/GD] give themselves room to lead towards the transverse line, don't start there and block space
Step 4
[GA] might be up against sagging defence, but still try to find them first. If covered, don't lead too far up-court, draw opponents deep to open space for [WD/GD] to provide second and third options from back-court.
Step 5
Next pass should try to find the [GS], otherwise [C] on the circle edge for a relatively simple third pass into a goalie.
