  • Setup

Split into 3's of similar stature. Up to 3 groups can work each in each goal circle. Within groups choose attacker (A), defender (B), feeder (C).
  • Step 1

Simulate a penalty pass to (C) outside the goal circle. Attacker (A) signals the play which involves (A) 'faking' a lob.
You will need to design a secret way of communicating this, such as a number system for the play
  • Step 2

    (C) make the defender think there will be a hold and lob pass by standing upright and holding the ball up higher
(C)'s pose will be similar to a goalies when shooting
  • Step 3

Defender (B) will react by shifting backwards ready for a high ball. Suddenly (A) performs a stop-dead and lunge towards (C) to receive the pass
    (C) uses a bounce pass or similar low trajectory pass to make intercepting virtually impossible
  • Step 4

Optionally take the shot. Repeat 3 times; rotate roles and sub players-in.
