  • Setup

Groups of 4 each require a 4x4m square
  • Step 1

The sequence is....1) pass to player on left....2) shuttle run and back to cone on right
  • Step 2

    (A) starts by passing to (B), then runs to (D) and back.
Focus on a sharp change of direction
  • Step 3

    (B) passes to (C) then runs to (A) and back, and so-on around the square.
Remember, each player passes to left cone, runs to right cone and back.
  • Step 4

Progression 1: Change direction. Shouting 'reverse!' to requires players reverse flow of play from clockwise to anti, and vice versa
  • Step 5

Progression 2: Change the journey of everyone's shuttle run to travel via middle cone (1)
(A to D) all run inside to (1) before progressing to next cone
  • Step 6

Progression 3: Increase square size. Players will need to sprint harder for the longer shuttle run, and concentrate on skills when tired.
