  • Setup

Pair-up and allocate each 1/6 of the court and a ball. Pairs elect who will start as worker (A) and feeder (B) who stand 3m apart, facing one another.
  • Step 1

The object is for (A) to perform repeated double plays with stationary feeder (B)
  • Step 2

Feeder (B) passes according to (A)'s lead, placing the ball out in front of (A) so they catch on-the-move.
Focus on good footwork when catching.
  • Step 3

After gathering, (A) passes back to (B) flat and hard, then leads again, this time to another random bit of space around (B)
  • Step 4

As this continues, (B) varies the pass (height / angle / velocity)
If a high ball, leap to catch, if a wide ball, lunge to reach
  • Step 5

    Rotate roles after 30-45 seconds.
