Circle Cross & Shoot

Purpose
Sharp passing around the goal circle before a feed into the circle to a shooter who receives on-the-move.

  • Setup

    Groups of 3 each have a ball. Trio elect goalie (A) and two stationary attackers (B & C).

  • Step 1

    Goalie (A)'s turn involves: 1 pass, 1 up-and-back move, 1 shot. They repeat this 6 times.

  • Step 2

    Each of goalie (A)'s turns includes:-
    Pass to (B), then a lead towards (B) hoping for a return pass
    Instead (B) passes to (C) on other side of circle
    (A) dodges back to the post to receive from (C). Take a shot and return the ball to (B)

  • Step 3

    Now (B & C) shift around 1 station.
    (B) anti-clockwise to (2)
    (C) clockwise to (4)
    Repeat

  • Step 4

    Work around the circle until every station is visited. Rotate goalies and restart.
